Friday last week we hosted a party for the ones that attended Verden i Bergen earlier this summer and fall (you can read more about that here and here). It was a traditional Norwegian Christmas party, with rice porrigde, ginger bread, Christmas soda and lots of candy. Of course we also hid some almonds in the porridge, and the lucky winners got a marzipan pig each.  After the dinner we watched The Polar Express, and then we had to say goodbye for this time.

It was a really nice and cozy evening (cozyness is important to Norwegians), and it seemed like everybody got into the Christmas spirit 🙂
